Kino

Seen here looking much smaller than she is now, is my puppy, Kino.

So it's been a while since I've done... anything. Basically I lost my previous dog, Socks, and from there things just sort of... fell apart. I fell apart from losing my first friend. And to be blunt, that day was the most I've ever imbibed in alcohol on an empty stomach.

My passion just sort of died with her, even though I tried to get it back, but now I'm on the way to recovery and new things shall start appearing soon.

But to put the sadness aside... Kino is named after the heroine of Kino no Tabe. The moment I got her people were asking me "what kind of dog is he?" so I felt the name was suiting on multiple levels. Three days she went without a name until that one just... fit. I felt like as much as I saved her in adopting her (she was the only one of her litter that no one was taking out), she has also saved me. She's definitely been helping me heal as it's pretty much impossible to be home without her wanting to cuddle with me, or sit on top of me... or get on my bed in the morning and lie on my face.... Big dogs never understand that they're big.

But yeah... that's pretty much it. Forgive me for going missing for so long?
